Dubai, UAE, 5 September 2018: Visa (NYSE:V), the world leader in digital payments, today announced the launch of ‘Your Child, Every Child’, its charity campaign in collaboration with Souq.com, the leading online retailer in the MENA region, in support of UNICEF’s ‘No Lost Generation’ initiative. The campaign will run during the back-to-school period, starting from 3rd September up until 9th September 2018.
During this period, for every purchase from Souq.com’s dedicated UAE “Back-to-School” range paid for using a Visa card, Visa will subsequently donate AED 10 towards UNICEF’s ‘No Lost Generation’, a program that supports children affected by the crisis in the region - providing them with the required psychosocial care and youth leadership and empowerment opportunities. The funds will be entirely donated by Visa and no amount in addition to the cost of the purchase will be debited from the Visa cardholder’s account during or following the transaction on Souq.com.

At the end of the campaign, Visa will use the number of transactions to determine the total amount of the donation to UNICEF, which it will then donate to UNICEF’s ‘No Lost Generation’ initiative.
